Haryana TET Exam Pattern , Strategy, Eligibility and Pattern Analysis
HTET stands for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test. it is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani. The Test is conducted annually for keen candidates who wish to make their career in education sectors as a teacher in government schools and other recognized schools by the Department of School Education. TET is the compulsary exam for being a teacher.
There are several posts under the HTET 2021 as follows: Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in the schools under Haryana Government. The HTET qualified candidates receive a certificate with lifetime validity.

Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teacher
Primary Teacher
(Level 1 – Class 1 to 5):
12th pass along with Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)
Candidates from 18 years to 38 years of age can apply for HTET 2021.
Eligibility Criteria for Trained Graduate Teacher
Trained Graduate Teacher
(Level 2 – Class 6 to 8)
Bachelor’s Degree along with B.Ed
Candidates from 18 years to 38 years of age can apply for HTET 2021.

HTET Exam Pattern 2021
Exam Pattern of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test will be as follows:
- This exam is based on a pen and paper or written examination, it also means it is offline mode.
- HTET Exam will be written in Objective types question also called MCQs questions.
- The exam will be of 150 multiple choice type questions.
- And also, the exam will be 1 mark for each MCQ question.
- The duration of the TET exam will be of 2:30 hours.

Level – 3: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
- HTET Paper comprises of multiple-choice questions. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. You can see the exam pattern for all papers below.
- Level III – For becoming a Post-graduate Teacher for Classes IX-XII:
Aspirants candidates should need to appear for only one paper. There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and each question carrying one mark. In the question paper, you will have four alternatives choices in which you have to anyone answer. The total No. of MCQs are 150 and the time duration of the examination will be Two-and-a-half hours.

Important Note (For All Levels):
- Candidates who are currently studying in the final year of the professional degree are also eligible to apply for the Haryana TET Exam. Their candidature by the appointing authority, however, shall be considered only when they have acquired the minimum qualification.
- The condition of having qualified “Secondary/ Matric” with Hindi/Sanskrit OR Sr. Secondary/ Graduation/ Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects will be applicable at the time of applying for the post of Teacher and not for appearing in the HTET.
